The Benevolent Trust is there to provide financial assistance or benefits in kind or small welfare gifts to members of Buckinghamshire Bowls Association and their dependents, to clubs affiliated to Buckinghamshire Bowls Association or to past members of Bucks County Bowls Association and Bucks County Women’s Bowls Association who are having financial difficulties through no fault of their own. We can help with payments towards utility bills, mobility aids etc.

 

Enquiries should normally be made through club secretaries but the Trustees will accept enquiries direct if the request is of personal nature. All enquiries are treated with the utmost confidence.

 

There are also welfare gift payments of up to £15 for members who are ill or have been hospitalised and a £15 Christmas gift for past members who can no longer bowl. To claim welfare gifts first purchase the item (chocolates, flowers or whatever is thought suitable), send the receipt to the Treasurer and they will arrange to get the cost reimbursed.
